"Tropicale
is one of Chicago's finest Latin groups."
"Folks in Chicago have been raving for years about Marshall Vente's particularly
satisfying brand of Latin Americn influenced jazz." "Just
wanted to thank you very much for an excellent performance at our summer
outing on the Windy sailboat. It was a super event in terms of the weather,
the catering and the band which was perfect for our party. The music was
so relaxing we all wanted to stay on the boat all night and just enjoy."
"Thanks so much to you and Tropicale for your wonderful performance as
a part of our Summer Breeze Concert Series, it was a great show and we
are still receiving glowing reports from many of the 1,000+ who were in
attendance that evening. It was the perfect music for a summer evening!"
"Marshall Vente loves a party!" "Folks
in Chicago have been raving for years about pianist Marshall Vente's particularly
satisfying brand of Latin American influenced jazz. It's authentic, it's
perfected and the leader capably stretches and shapes his music, updating
it and augmenting it to fit modern themes. There is never a dull moment...
" "For
years, longtime Chicago jazzman Marshall Vente has infused his music with
a tropical flavor that has delighted fans at local jazz clubs, like Pops
for Champagne, the Green Mill and Andy's"
"This is to declare that "Tropicale with Marshall Vente" had an excellent
performance as musical entertainers at the "Brasilian Night" sponsored
by General Electric Company during the Congress organized by the Radiological
Society of North America in Chicago."
